Summer job with great value

We welcome the students Nea Kujala (Data Analyst) and Selma Femtehjell (Shipping Management).

The shipping industry is going through an exciting transformation, requiring new technology and new methods. These must be used for the benefit of end customers. We want to help find solutions that deliver good results for shipping by reducing emissions and improving efficiency as well as safety and usability for crew on board and personnel on shore.

Recruitment and development

To create services for shipping companies and shipyards, we need to have a thorough knowledge of the requirements and regulations they face. This summer, our talented summer students will help us with exactly this by exploring the following questions: What challenges are shipping companies and shipyards in Norway facing now and in the future?

We welcome the students Nea Kujala (Data Analyst) and Selma Femtehjell (Shipping Management). They will create a report explaining what we can do to deliver products and services that help shipowners and operators comply with current and upcoming environmental regulations and laws. Selma and Nea will understand and describe the different parties and stakeholders that require information, reports and services.

We also need to understand more about how shipowners and operators can optimize their fleet to meet increasingly stringent requirements. Nea and Selma will therefore also investigate how to simulate ship operations and predict future efficiency and emissions.

We look forward to using the knowledge from Nea and Selma and are excited to work with them this summer!
